Podcast on Energy Transition and Climate Change

  • November 25, 2019

During our recent Young Professionals Seminar on “Energy Transition and Climate Change: Is there a European answer?” which took place last weekend in Paris, Anna Chashchyna, one of the 21 participants from 15 European countries and member of United Europe’s Young Professionals Advisor group, produced a podcast on the topic.
Anna is a sustainability consultant, environmental and social specialist from Ukraine and works as a link between investment projects and international financial institutions. She is also running the “Sustainability Explored” podcast where she explores in-depth different angles of sustainability, climate, ESG reporting, green economy, corporate social responsibility, amongst other.

For her latest podcast, she discussed with Marcus Lippold, Dinand Drankier, Nevena Milutinovic, and Mihkel Kaevats about the challenges and necessary changes in politics, industry and society to reach the target points of the Paris Climate Agreements.

Marcus Lippold
is an energy expert and advisor from Great Britain, based in Brussels, and a long-standing member of United Europe.
Dinand Drankier is an advisor on energy and climate policy, working and living in The Hague.
Nevena Milutinovic works as assistant project manager for a Serbian engineering company and likes photography, boxercise and travel.
Mihkel Kaevats is Strategy Writer at the Tallinn Strategy Bureau in Estonia and works currently on the Tallinn Strategy 2035. He is also a poet, critic, a passionate cyclist and a professional walker who loves inspiring city space, peoples’ casual interaction on the streets and the little surprises that good cities have in store for us.
