A group of eleven prominent German economists, lawyers and political scientists has united in a forcefull call for a fundamental reform of the Eurozone. The Glienicker Gruppe, as it calls itself after first meeting in the Berlin suburb of Glienicke last year, considers a new treaty necessary to create a new, crisis-resistent architecture for the Eurozone. A common economic government and a Euro parliament should be instituted. Two-speed Europe would become a reality. One of the members of the Glienicker Gruppe is Dr. Daniela Schwarzer, member of the board of United Europe.
