“Some people assume that the European Union is just a project. However, the longer you are involved in this project, the better you understand that indeed it is a portfolio of many projects. About 70 years ago, six founding member states signed their first cooperation treaty. Later, new agreements were signed and further countries joined the union. As a result, it became a big political, economic and social challenge. To live in freedom, promote digitisation, and prevent extremism a few decades of collaboration are not enough. Only together we can make Europe peaceful and strong in the long run. This is why I am committed to United Europe!”
