“I have the privilege to having never felt the borders of Europe. Travelling, connecting with professionals, honoring cultures, valuing country differences and diverse traditions is what fascinates me as a person born in Germany with Polish roots. Working together, rather than alone – a real European, having benefitted from Erasmus and DAAD to broaden my intercultural perception. Living abroad in India and the Netherlands showed me how valuable Europe is in terms of living quality, security, logistics, cultural coordination, the harmonization of markets and the strive for cohesion and convergence.

In times of global shocks and challenges I hope that Europe will come closer together, cross-coordinate and perceive what topics countries have in common rather than in difference to lead in planetary responsibility as Joschka Fischer denotes it, to efficiently fight Covid, global warming, strengthen circularity and decarbonization, leverage artificial intelligence for good and diplomatically resolve wars while pushing for disarmament.
