Nevertheless, the unity of Europe can only be achieved or maintained by the people, and I am aware that this will need common projects and the right attitude. United Europe is the place where these like-minded people meet and work together for the common goal of reducing distances between countries and inhabitants. Furthermore, the people from all over Europe who meet in United Europe are living examples of what freedom and diversity will do in the long run: It will bring people together and connect their worlds, their lives, their stories. United Europe is the organisation I needed to take action myself.”
