“Initially through my role of executive assistant to Prof. Roland Berger, who was one of the Founding Members of United Europe, and later as a personal member, participating in a Young Professionals’ seminar as well as in the writing of the Rome Manifesto, I have been closely involved with UE since the very beginning. I believe it is an excellent and very timely initiative, rallying for the European cause in a time when for many, the main impulse is to fall back to thinking in nation-states. It is my firm belief that most of our most pressing issues, not least addressing climate change, can only or best be solved through European collaboration, and I therefore very much appreciate the opportunity to contribute to this cause within my means.”
