Roundtable of the THINK. Initiative: European Strategies for the BRI

The research and think-tank network of the THINK. Initiative has collected, discussed and moderated the participants ideas and inputs from 12 round tables in 6 countries. The results of the programme are hypothesis and strategy recommendations.

The THINK. Initiative focusses on 6 research topics which serves as basis for the discussions at the Round Tables:

• The Challenge of the Chinese BRI for Europe (Opportunities and Risks)
• China’s maritime strategy in the Mediterranean
• China’s strategy for the cement and building materials industry
• China’s strategy for the oil & gas industry
• A database of Chinese infrastructure projects and FDI (Phase1: Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe)
• China’s strategy in the electricity supply industry

At our round table in Paris we are going to discuss findings, hypothesis and strategy recommendations for our focus topics.
