Event Details
Together with the Postdigital Society, we are organizing a fireside chat about Europe, artificial intelligence and digitization on the evening of the Europe Day, 9 May 2019, at Westlake Partners, Bauhofstr. 12, 10117 Berlin (due to the large number of registrations the event had to move from Pan Am Suite to Mitte).
The question of how Europe positions itself against powerful technology nations such as the USA and China and how it renews itself at the same time is currently the subject of heated and controversial debate. We take the Europe Day as an opportunity to discuss possible future scenarios with proven experts with years of experience in Asia.
We look forward to new approaches to solutions and surprising views of the panellists, who will possibly be able to soften the widespread Euro-centric view of China and the rest of Asia for us due to their personal experience of Asia.
The Panelists:
Professor Dr. Maximilian Mayer
School of International Studies, The University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China
Torben Stephan
Mercator Foundation, Program Manager “Digitization & Society”, Zurich, Switzerland
Moderation:
Denise Feldner, attorney for commercial law and innovation manager, Berlin
Time
May 9, 2019 19:30 - 21:30
Location
