United Europe is seeking Young Leaders to join us for the United Europe Advocacy Seminar “2024 Was A Defining Election Year – What’s Next For Europe?” in partnership with the European Commission Representation in Vienna, Austria on April 30, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 16:30 PM. Together, we will analyze the impact of the 2024 super election year and explore Europe’s future.

The seminar will feature a keynote by Patrick Lobis, M.P.P., Head of the European Commission Representation in Austria, followed by expert presentations on geopolitics, trade, and industrial policy from leading economists and policymakers. Wilhelm Molterer, former Vice-Chancellor and Finance Minister of Austria and Chairman of GLOBSEC, will discuss financing competitiveness and defense.

Sessions will also cover Europe’s digital sovereignty, global economic threats, and Estonia’s tech start-up success. Unitd Europe’s board member Barbara Tasch Ronner will interview Danai-Magarita Budas, Deputy Director International Relations and Markets at the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) on the occasion of the WTOs 30th anniversary and its ongoing crisis. The event will conclude with a workshop on Eurostack, exploring a European alternative for technological sovereignty.
