Overview

Dr. Matthias Koch has served in CFO positions for more than 15 years, building deep expertise across corporate finance, private equity, and start-ups. He held senior leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Abbott, MEDIAN/Priory, and Genpact, and brings a unique combination of strategic insight and operational experience. Currently, he is serving as Managing Director of ESMT Berlin. As a Senior Advisor and Executive Coach in Life Science and Artificial Intelligence, Matthias is passionate about supporting companies and leaders in translating vision into sustainable growth. He thrives on being actively involved in the creation and development of businesses, working closely with energized people to tackle challenges, seize opportunities, and build lasting and relevant value.

Being an alumnus of Goethe-University Frankfurt and INSEAD Fontainebleau, where he earned his Executive Coaching certificate, Matthias blends a people-focused approach with a strong business foundation, enabling leaders to grow both their companies and their personal capabilities.
