Restructuring at Roland Berger – Germany
With a Dutch father and a German mother, identifying as a European has always felt natural to me, and it has shaped how I view collaboration, responsibility, and leadership. It is my ambition to become a responsible business leader who strengthens the European idea by fostering cooperation, open exchange, and trust across borders. Applying for the United Europe mentoring program is a deliberate step toward that goal.
Currently, I work in restructuring at Roland Berger, the only global strategy consultancy with European heritage. Outside of work, I serve as treasurer of the EBS Alumni Association, where more than 4,500 members from 30+ countries come together – many of them Europeans.
From the mentoring program, I hope to gain perspective on how to translate European values and principles into business decisions and leadership practice. I want to contribute my curiosity, energy, and commitment to Europe’s future – grounded in practical action, not only rhetoric.
