Benedikt Rothhagen

Benedikt is Project Manager International at VDMA, Europe’s leading mechanical engineering association. In this role, he coordinates expert committees on battery production to identify industry policy needs, manages worldwide trade show participation, and leads digital member engagement initiatives.
Professionally, Benedikt is driven by his ability to build networks across languages and cultural boundaries, and his passion for crafting impactful public communication campaigns, e.g. „The European Battery Innovators“, that advance industry interests on a global scale.
His multilingual fluency in German, English, and French, combined with international working experience spanning Germany, France, and Canada, enables him to navigate diverse cultural contexts with ease. He holds a Master’s degree in History and Politics of the 20th Century from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
