We are seeking Young Leaders to join us for the upcoming United Europe Young Leaders Advocacy Seminar in Paris, on October 24, 2025. held in partnership with Eurazeo.
Together, we will examine the stalled European Capital Markets Union and explore how regulatory frameworks and supervisory practices could be reviewed and streamlined to help European firms fully realize the scale and synergies of the Single Market—and how meaningful progress toward a Single Capital Market can still be achieved despite limited political will from member states.
The seminar will open with a keynote address by William Kadoch-Chassaing, Co-CEO at Eurazeo, on “How to Unlock Europe’s Full Potential”. This will be followed by insights from Dr. Edeltraud Leibrock (Global Managing Director at Roland Berger), Jonathan Userovici, General Partner at Headline and Christophe Hemous (Director – Investment Banking Division at Societe Generale, who will discuss reallocating savings toward equity and innovation financing.
Valerie Höß, Director and Head of European Policy at Commerzbank AG, will address regulatory challenges, while Marcel Hamann, CAIA, Vice President at Eurazeo, will speak on the theme “Fundraising Starts at Home”.
The program will also feature a workshop led by Professor Jan Krahnen, Senior Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, exploring why the Capital Markets Union remains incomplete.
