Anne Latz: Why Europe Matters

“As a medical doctor I had the opportunity to be trained internationally with various stations across Europe, encountering support through European programs and networks such as ERASMUS. Identifying as a citizen of the European Union comes natural to me. Current political discussions and recent developments like Brexit show that „our“ Europe might more than ever be threatened by fear, doubt and disappointment, particulary of those who never had the chance to profit from being European in a way my generation was privileged to.”
