United Europe is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2025/26 cohort of our Mentoring Programme.
The United Europe Mentoring Programme connects young professionals from across Europe with experienced leaders in business, politics, academia, and civil society. Together, mentors and mentees engage in a 6 months-long dialogue about Europe, leadership, responsibility, and personal development — building bridges across borders, generations, and sectors.
What the Programme Offers
- A 6-month mentoring relationship with a senior United Europe member
- Individual guidance on personal and professional development
- Access to the United Europe Young Leaders network
- A platform to discuss Europe’s future challenges and opportunities
Who Can Apply
We invite applications from young professionals aged 25–35 who:
- Demonstrate commitment to a strong and united Europe
- Have first professional experience in business, public service, academia, or civil society
- Show leadership potential and motivation to contribute to Europe’s future
- Are members of United Europe or are recommended by members of United Europe

Please submit the following documents in one PDF file to events@united-europe by 30 October 2025:
1. A short motivation letter (max. one page) explaining why you wish to join the programme and your expectations
2. Your CV (max. two pages)
3. A brief description of your European engagement or perspective (paragraph)
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview, and the new cohort will start in November 2025.
Please note: Membership in United Europe is a prerequisite for final selection. Candidates recommended by members are encouraged to apply, but successful applicants must become members prior to participation.

Since its launch, the United Europe Mentoring Programme has brought together dozens of young leaders and senior European leaders, fostering cross-generational dialogue and lasting connections. Participants join a growing community committed to shaping a competitive, strong, and united Europe.
